Rain is expected to continue to fall throughout the Hawaiian Islands over the next week. Following the horrific dam breakage and rainfall that drenched much of Kauai last week the remainder of Hawaii continues it’s battle with mother nature. Oahu had a flash flood warning issue for most of the windward side with parts of Honolulu receiving up to one half an inch of rain in 15 minutes as reported by the Honolulu Advertiser.
For those of you vacationing to the islands during this week we hope you find fun things to do inside to cope with the horrendous weather. Try shopping which is always a favorite of the rainy day activities or going to a movie at the Row Theatres or Ward center. Women might enjoy a nice day at one of the many spas around the islands or just rent a movie and hope the rain goes away.
Travel safely and obey road closures wherever they may be. Oahu reported several road closures redirecting traffic and causing many delays throughout much of the island.
Good news is, if you’re thinking about surfing you’ll already be wet while your in the water so that’s also a possible activity. Take care and Aloha.
