Two more events have been approved for the Diamond Head Crater. Recently there was the Diamond Head Crater Celebration marking over 20 years since the last concert or celebration event was held in the crater in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The same event, the Diamond Head Crater Celebration which saw the Steve Miller Band will be able to hold two more events in 2007 and 2008. Event planner Ron Gibson was given permission to hold the event the next two years in the same location because the first one was such a success.

Hopefully the rain will sat away. Last year the weekend before saw 4 inches of standing water in some places in the crater floor and it made for a wet but enjoyable time at the crater.

The event was a sell out even though tickets cost $125.
