Who read that correctly. Dog, the Bounty Hunter famous for is A&E series aptly named Dog The Bounty Hunter, is undergoing trial to see if he will be extradited to Mexico where he is wanted by authorities.
In June of 2003 Dog the Bounty Hunter who owns Da Kine Bailbonds on the island of Oahu in Hawaii went to mexico looking for convicted rapist and Max Factor heir Andrew Luster. Event though the Champmans caught a rapist they violated a law in Mexico that prohibits the capture of fugitives not authorized by Mexican Law.
Also arrested in the case were Dog Champan’s son Leland Champan and his partner Timothy Chapman.
The courtroom in downtown Honolulu was standing room only as media and supporters showed up to get a glimpse of the three in shackles.

thats sad what this world has come to the people that save life from being attack or rape.These men are Angel waiting for wings. They did what was right…Maybe if you or a loved one was raped like myself you would know the fear of what a sick indiviual a rapist puts you through…you dont obviously…to bring these men back o mexico For what?? the united states or Mexico countlnt find the rapist and Dog and The Bounty Hunters did!! they are praised by me and lots of Fans!And should be rewarded for there efforts and courage and thankful for not letting another woman have to go throug Tramatic Drama. If this country wants to save dog and his son and brother simple answer. Make them diplomats of the united states thay way they have diplomatic immunity.

dog lives for putting criminals in jail.and thats the law.but he broke the law so he should pay like anyone else.i see no remorse when he puts away law breakers.and we should feel the same way about him.

I think dog is awesome and I think he does an awesome at what he does. He is a wonderful and a very caring man. He is a wonderful man and he is awesome of caring and helping other people who are in trouble. So anyone who does not like dog or who makes fun of him has low self-esteem and does’nt know what there talking about. Dog I love you your an awesome man. Keep up what you love to do. All of you people posting responses here need to correct your grammar and spelling. What I see written here is pathetic.
Consider for a moment that Dog violated international law by going into another country to catch a criminal without the permission of the government of that country. What would all of you think if a Mexican bail bondsman came into the United States to capture an American citizen who committed a crime in Mexico without the permission of the US government? You would be correct if you called the bondsman a criminal and called for his arrest for violating US law.
Dog needs to go through the proper channels to extradite any criminals he may be seeking to bring out of another country. If everyone did things the way Dog tried to do them, we would soon have a bad situation on our hands because there would be terrible problems with criminals being taken here, there and everywhere for trial and/or incarceration. Civil rights would become blurred as well the rules of law enforcement across international lines.
And something else to consider: Would Dog have chased this rapist if this were not such a high-level, attention-getting case? Or did he do it to increase his popularity among the populace that so loves his show…you know…the people who have bad English and cannot spell…
