On Saturday, 12.9.2006, Hot Import Nights brought in the best of the best cars and models to the Blaisdell Center in Hawaii. Modifications were done on pretty much any car you can think of, including Infiniti G35’s, Nissan 350Z’s, Acura Integra’s, Honda Civic’s, Scion xB’s and tC’s, Mercedes, Escalades, and even Toyota Corolla’s. There were also booths with models signing pictures, calendars, etc. And of course, there were booths from various orgnizations, whether they were car club or a car care company. There were also a lot of entertainment, which included breakdancing, model search, and prize giveaways.
While I’ve only been to two other car shows, I have to say this was probably the most well done car show I have been too. There was music, a LOT more cars, entertainment, and lighting effects. The only negative thing I can say was that the arena was too dark, and while it may have given some of the cars a cool effect (especially the cars with various types of lighting), it didn’t quite work out for those who wanted to take pictures of the cars.
You can check out the event and pictures at the Hot Import Nights website. And congratulations to my brother, who walked away with two 1st place trophies and $100 that night for his 2000 Acura Integra! Congratulations again!
