I don't fully understand how this case got so overblown by the mexicans.(or maybe i do?)
Firstly was he charged with 'kidnapping"(which they can extradite him for)? or unlawful withholding of liberty (in which case they cannot extradite him).
also how many people were involved here? because i think at least two or three others are being charged as well as dog, tim, leyland.
The point maybe is that Mexico's government is being supported by so many fugitives that their economy may collapse if they let dog go without some punishment.
But how sad to see American law enforcement help a country such as mexico when its quite clear that they hate and are jealous of everything American and don't even police their own borders properly on purpose!.

I am in strong support of The Dog, I am a former law enforcement official and currently a human rights activist for Native Americans.

I am against an extradition of Dog to Mexico and If I had any say in this I will tell the Mexican Attorney General that The Dog brought a man to justice who has raped some women and if he want's to tally that against illegal bounty hunting than that is just too bad.

Hang in there Duane Chapman, I am a supporter, I even wrote to Senator Dorgan of North Dakota in regards to your Extradition.

The fact of the matter is he commited a crime. He went into mexico, and broke their laws. While his motives might have been good, think of the precedent it sets if one is allowed to violate international laws without consequence.

Wow,
I can hardly believe the criticism Maria made regarding Beth. My God? Do you or anyone else have any idea the hell this family is going through???
Dog is NO criminal. He did a heroic and honorable thing and I admire him immensely!
Dog deserves the support of all Americans and nothing less.
This is a shame and a prime example of a lost nation...the loss of America...now know as the North American Union.
Dog, You and your family are in our prayers.
May God be my your side through out this entire ordeal. You are a wonderful man and God is with you!

I don't see why Beth has to call people " a pile of garbage" or whatever, just for disagreeing
with her point of view. Does she really
think that will help her cause ? Get a little more class, Beth. Although, I would feel like
saying the same thing, I doubt I would, but who knows.

I believe that the Resolution is a big first step in stopping the extraditon of Dog. This is a State standing up for one of their citizens. This will also send a message to DC and Mexico that the people of the USA care about Dog Chapman and that he should be given a medal by Mexico for taking a man who was convicted of over 70 counts of rape, instead of being arrested.

As for people who dont agree, when you send people to jail for a living, even though Dog gives them a chance for freedom, you will have built in enemies. Much like being a police office, abuse is part of the whole deal.

Resolution 50 is a great first step.

Despite some saying this measure will be ineffective in the overall fight against extradition, as this is on a State level, the Chapmans feel just the opposite. Having support from their home state has been spiritually uplifting for them, and they also feel the State’s initiative of support will be heard throughout the country, and all the way to Mexico.
