For those of you who went to the Sports Carnival held at the Aloha Stadium this past weekend and feel that you missed out, don’t worry because the carnival will continue this coming weekend from Friday to Sunday. If you are a Paula Deanda fan, sorry to say, but you’ve already missed out since she performed on March 9th and 10th. BUT, if you’re a fan of the hit MTV series “Making the Band”, P Diddy’s all girl group Danity Kane will be performing this weekend on Friday at Saturday starting at 7:30pm.
EK Fernandez is holding this event and if you know who they are, they basically supply all the carnival rides, foods, booths, etc. to the majority of the large carnivals held here in Hawaii, including the famous Punahou Carnival. As expected there will be lots of games, rides, and food. And with all carnivals, there is always a large crowd.
With Paula Deanda and Danity Kane making an appearance, the carnival is sure to be a crowd pleaser. And to make matters better, admission is only $5 on Friday and Saturday, and only $2 on Sunday. Those under 40″ tall enter the carnival for free. Now, that is a bargain. To be able to watch Paula Deanda and Danity Kane perform LIVE for $5 is an extreme bargain. I’m sure their concerts sell out for at least $40 a seat. Although Paula Deanda’s performance has passed, you can still catch Danity Kane this weekend.
If you are into rides, you can pay for an $18 wristband that will give you access to unlimited rides throughout the day, but only on Saturday from noon to 6pm and Sunday from noon to 11pm. The wristbands cannot be applied all day Friday or Saturday night. Wristbands can be purchased at http://www.ekfernandez.com as well as any ticketmaster location such as Times Supermarket.
Head down to Aloha Stadium this weekend for some family fun and catch Danity Kane perform live. Hopefully the rain will let up by this weekend, but if not, don’t let the rain stop you!
