For those of you who are looking to purchase a new vehicle, or just into cars, the First Hawaiian International Auto Show, partnered with Motor Trend, will be showcasing all the major automobile manufacturers Thursday through Sunday.
I went the past two years, and it is a pretty decent show. I’m sure it isn’t as good as the LA, Chicago, or NY Auto Shows, but for Hawaii, it’s not bad. All the major automobile manufacturers bring in nearly their whole line of vehicles for people to test, sit in, look around, etc. There are also brochures you can pick up along with some little gifts. There will also be vendors, exhibitors, sponsors, and food/concession stands.
This year, there will also be exhibits on exotic vehicles including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, and Lotus. Scion will also host the customized vehicle booth with their line of Scion xBs, tCs, and xAs. The Mustand and Shelby club will bring their restored classics to show off at their exhibit. The VW Club of Hawaii are also brining in customized VWs from the 50s and 60s. And lastly, there will also be a booth for modified luxury vehicles by the Executive Konnexion.
So head on down to the Convention Center! Tickets are $7 for adults (13 and over), $5 for senior citizens (62 and over), $5 for students (with ID), $5 for military (with ID), $4 for children 7-12, and free for children under 6. You can also visit your local First Hawaiian Bank and pick up tickets for $2 one adult admission ticket. See you there!
