Lulu’s Kona, Hawaii Has Great Food and Entertainment

Lulu’s on Kona

Lulu’s has slowly begun to seep into the Hawaiian late night party scene with locations on Oahu, Maui, and the Big Island. I live on Oahu and spend a fair amount of time at the Lulu’s Restaurant in Waikiki, both for food and late night fun.

On a recent trip to The Big Island and more specifically to Kona, Hawaii we decided to head into Lulu’s for some late night action and see if there was anything going on.

The Lulu’s in Kona is right on the main beach drag through town and if you’re walking by you’ll no doubt hear the music pouring out onto the streets and into the ocean. We did, and with a small beer buzz going, we decided to head in and see what all the commotion was about.

We’ve been there for lunch, dinner, and probably breakfast, but never for some dancing. The crowd was a mix of local and tourist people all having a good time. They have a dance floor area to the side of the main restaurant which opens up two other bars. All is open air and overlooking the ocean, great views inside and out. :)

We only made it for about an hour, taking in the music and the people, and of course, a few more beers. We’d suggest that if you’re looking for a party in your slippers and T-Shirt head over to Lulu’s. It’s good fun.
