Lulu’s Waikiki Has Great Hawaii Dining Atmosphere

Lulu’s Waikiki

On the island of Oahu in the bustling tourist town that I call home, Waikiki, it sometimes can be tough to come by a decent priced meal with a great atmosphere. There’s always those out of the way places that have great food, but their view of the water is lacking or non-existant.

However, there’s one place in Waikiki where you can eat for cheap and still enjoy your food and drinks right across from the waves and the people who play in them. The place is Lulu’s Restaurant in Waikiki. Lulu’s is located on the corner of Kalakaua and Kapahulu right across from the Honolulu Zoo, and the beach! (For those of you who know Waikiki and it’s many surf breaks, Lulu’s is directly across from the wall.)

Lulu’s offers some of the best food for the best price in waikiki and it’s the only place you can get a Corona for $3 as well as the local fav Steinlager. They also have some great loco moco (local kine grindz) great burgers, and some good sushi dishes, surprising considering it’s more of the bar and grill type restaurant.

The best part is you can take all this in while watching the waves roll in and the people play in them. They have seating around the perimeter looking out on the ocean, seating at large tables within and also bar and cocktail seating. Even from the very corner of the bar you can take in the scene outside.

Lulu’s is a great place and with dishes ranging from $8 to $15.

Is this the spot where you took us the first night we were in town? The music was great, and the pupu’s were not too shabby either.

Good eats, good times. Can’t wait for you to head out this way!
