Kona, Hawaii - The Big Island - Home to some of the world’s best coffee, Kona coffee, and also more known to those who live in the islands, The Kona Brewing Company.

The Kona Brewing Company has a both it’s brewery and a great pub right in the town of Kona! They recently remodeled and expanded their dining area (wrapping around the side). Their inside pub is still the same offering all their wonderful brews where you can sit and watch them hand toss pizza and make your dinner before your eyes.

The best part is, when you walk in, you walk past an outside wall of kegs! Then past the big brewing containers where you favs are brewed. Almost all seating is outside and under large market type umbrellas. Even in the rain (which we got caught in on a recent visit) the evening was pleasent.

For Pupu’s we suggest Gralic Cheese Bread or Mac Nut Pesto Cheese Bread. For the main course, get a pizza, it’s what they’re good at, and if you decide on a pizza get a Kamuela, it’s the best! You can also get some great sandwhiches, salads and other pupu’s to satisfy your appetite.

Whatever you do, make sure to complement your meal with a pint of their great beer. Or several pints for that matter. Kona Brew Pub is great food and great beer!
