Find Hotels With an Interactive Map

Recently I was asked to do this payed review of a hotel locator site called www.seeyourhotel.com. As is usually the case with these types of reviews I have to go and check out the product first. This time, the product came in handy as I’m trying to book hotels for both relatives coming to Hawaii and my honeymoon in New Zealand!

The site utilizes Google Maps and all the great data about streets and hotels that comes along with it. Using Google’s sleek interactiveness, you are able to easily zoom in and zoom out on different countries, states, cities, and down to street level, where you’ll find the usual Google “pins” that show you information about hotels in the specific area.

I actually utilized it while I was writing this review! My fiance wondered about where her mother was staying here in Hawaii and we zoomed in on Oahu and were able to find the exact hotel and street it was on, easily scrolling to various attractions around Waikiki and determining distances, surrounding hotels, etc.

The great thing about the site is it isn’t cluttered with a million extras to pull your attention from the task at hand. You get what you are looking for and that’s to determine what hotels are in a specific location and where they are in the particular city.

There is one thing that I would say is need of this site. A more extensive list of the local hotels and also possibly some smaller places to stay like Bed and Breakfasts, etc. Also links out to the hotels sites would be great. Although there is a lot of information about the Hotels that does pop up, a link out to the hotels actual site would be great rather than having to Google the hotel names.

It’s a definite great site to keep on your list for travel purposes.
