Yes, you read that right.  go! airlines is setting up a promotion and offering 1000 one-way interisland tickets for $1 from 7am-7pm today only.  During this 12 hour promotion, the first people able to purchase their ticket can get a round trip flight for only $2.  So why are they doing this?  To celebrate their one year anniversary.

The travel times are good from now until December 15th.  OK, this is just ridiculous people. I’m sure their website and phones are jammed by now…well, at least until they hear the news that they are offering this promotion.  Unless go! is just making serious money, this effort to celebrate their one year anniversary must set them back some.  With fares usually ranging from $39-79 for a one way ticket, they are losing about $39,000-79,000.  Then again, they are doing this to also thank those who fly with go!, and I’m sure the clients are going to come back to them.

So if you are planning a trip to the interislands, make sure you call them now, or book online at www.iflygo.com.  From the time of this article, you only have a little over 7 hours left to get your tickets if they aren’t already gone.  Good luck!
