Nowaday it’s not too hard to get an inter island ticket for $10-50.  However, your preferred travel dates and times are almost always unavailable at a special discount price, and there is so much restriction on tickets.  If you don’t like these restrictions and do like Subway sandwiches, there is a new way to get a good fare with no restrictions.

Hawaiian Airlines and Subway Restaurants in Hawaii are having an interesting promotion.  If you purchase six foot-long sandwiches (or equivalent) from Subway Restaurants in Hawaii between June 18th and July 15th this year, you can receive a certificate for one-time special fare of $79 unrestricted interisland roundtrip coach class web fare when booking online at HawaiianAirlines.com/ecertificate.  Receipts need to be taken to any Subway Restaurant in Hawaii to take advantage of this special offer.  You need to book a ticket and travel between June 18th and December 31st, 2007.

I am sure you can probably buy a roundtrip ticket for the money that you pay for six foot-long sandwiches.  But hey, there is no restrictions, and you can finally plan your trip around YOUR own schedule not the availability of discount fares.  It is also a good feeling to have your lunch work for you as well.
