After BJ’s absolute annihilation of Jens Pulver in Saturday’s UFC Ultimate Fight Night Finale, he was interviewed by Joe Rogan to which he responded “If you want to know what B.J. Penn feels like, check out bjpenn.com”.  This prompted viewers, including myself, to check out the website.  To my dismay, and probably to many others as well, the site was down.

So here’s what happened.  Basically, there were SO many people watching the FREE televised broadcast on Spike TV, which is usually shown on pay-per-view especially with a card that included BJ Penn, that the site crashed minutes after BJ made that comment.  Even the sports newscaster on KHON news reported the same problem after he watched the event.

BJ has been posting videos and commentary on his website prior to the actual event, including a weigh-in video showing BJ at probably his best physical shape he’s ever been in, as well as some training video.  The site did come back on Sunday, and a bit of it loaded just minutes ago, but as of now, the site is still down.

C’mon BJ!  We all want to know what you had to say!
