Whole Foods at Ward Location Halted Again

More remains have been found at the Ward Village Shops location where Whole FOods is planning to be built.  Three more remains were dug up and were of Native Hawaiian decent.General Growth Properties, GGP, the company who owns Ala Moana Shopping Center and all of Ward, has been losing money due to the delays.  With the Native Hawaiian Legal Corp. has filed a motion to have a temporary restraining order to stop further removal of the remains and to leave them there.  To date, there has been 58 remains that have been dug up.

With $150 million on the line for this project, GGP must find a way to figure this out or else their project will cost them more and more money.  And maybe perhaps having to shut it all down altogether.
