Apartments on Sale on Kapiolani Blvd

Looking for affordable housing anyone?  If you don’t mind a small units and outside parking, this may be the place for you.  Abe Lee has recently announced the sale (since this past Sunday) of an apartment complex on 2765 Kapiolani Blvd.

The units were built around the 1950s out of concrete from what I can see, and were all renovated to be put on sale.  So how much does this 21 unit complex cost?  For a one bedroom unit, it starts at $209,000.  There are only 3 of those one bedroom units, of which all do not have parking.  There are 3 other one bedroom units that start at $224,000 and include one parking.  Finally, there are 15 two bedroom units that start at $259,000 and all come with one parking.

All units include a patio or lanai that include washer/dryer hook-ups.  The building is also pet friendly, so if you do own a pet, this might be the place to go to.  With maintenance costs under $250 (varies from $148.01-244.85), this building is considered affordable housing.  And all units have only one bathroom.

Sounds pretty good, but there are a few things you have to consider.  First of all, all the units are VERY VERY SMALL.  With the one bedrooms at 399 square feet and two bedrooms between 477 and 510 square feet, you have to consider the space.  The lanais range from 59-93 square feet, with the one bedrooms having larger lanais than the two bedrooms.
