For all of you who used to watch Dog the Bounty Hunter, Dog’s associate Tim Chapman, was caught at the Ala Moana Center in the Bank of Hawaii parking lot with his clothes off in his truck performing lewd acts. When witnesses contacted Ala Moana security, the security guard asked Tim to put on his clothes and get out of his truck.
Tim put on his clothes, then started his car, hopped a curb and almost hit the security guard. Now, Tim is charged on suspicion of attempted murder for almost hitting the security guard, and indecent exposure in a public area.What I didn’t know was that Tim had separated from his Samoan wife and had been living out of his truck. When police went over to his Hawaii Kai home, they were told that information. But Brook Hart, Tim and Dog’s attorney, has said that this was an entire misunderstanding.
Brook had stated that Tim spilled orange juice on his pants and was looking for a private place to change his pants. And when the security guard startled him, he panicked and drove away as fast as he can. If this is true, I can somewhat understand that. I mean with the latest cancellation of Dog the Bounty Hunter reality show, and with all of them almost losing their celebrity status, Tim separation with his wife is just another bad thing that has happened to the Dog ohana.
Tim has already turned himself into police and was notified that he might be charged for only terroristic threatening instead of the other two charges. He is currently in a cell block since last night. Let’s hope all this gets resolved.

When you live in the spotlight, you have to remain spotless. Everyone knows about Dog’s past, which he has never kept secret. I respect him for that. But what you do in the future is what peopl see. You can’t keep on being stupid (Making racist remarks or pulling your pants off in public places) and expect people to continue forgiving. There comes a time when you have to grow up. Everyone stands behind Dog because they say he was having a private conversation with his son. I don’t buy that excuse. It’s when you don’t know your being watched or listened to that your true colors come out and people find out what your really all about. I have been in the abil bnding business for 15 years in North Carolina. In my opinion, Dog and his sidekick Tim has disgraced our industry. It is time you pulled back from the spotlight Dog and reflect on your life. Don’t forget how you got to the top. It’s the people you look down on and have called names that help keep you in buisness. There is an old saying Dog, “always be nice to people you pass on your way to the top because you will see them again on your way down”.

Phillip Bradshaw made some good observations in his comment. But my comment is that Mr. Bradshaw should proofread his comments for typos from now on, also, I believe I sense some envy perhaps on Mr. Bradshaw’s behalf of Duane Chapman. Guess it is hard to be in the same type of business as someone else and see them become so much more well known and financially better off than you. As for Tim Chapman, I don’t believe it is anyone’s business what he was doing in his truck, I have been in shopping mall parking lots also, and you cannot see anyone from the waist down, especially in a truck, unless you walk up and look inside the vehicle. Yeah, the security guard recognized Tim Chapman, that was the intent of looking into Mr. Chapman’s truck. I hope Mr. Tim Chapman is rid of this problem ASAP and can return to his private life.

I always gave him the bennefit of the doubt, convincing myself that with the prayers etc, that inspite of his bad language, and physical appearance he really was a good guy. Whoever said,that what you are after the camera’s are off, is a good indication of your true self, is absolutely true. I’m glad he is off the air,but I hope both Dog and Tim reflect on this and continue their own personal recovery. However keep them off the air, just because they are celebraties does not exempt from due punishment

I believe that until we are in the shoes of Tim and Dog and the rest of the brave people on his team we cannot sit here and judge him. Dog has done some great things including catching Andrew Luster who terrorized women in the continental US forever. Our government refused to catch him, but Dog did I say leave the man alone he is still in mourning over losing his daughter.

If a man is living out of his vehicle and soils his clothing, it is believeable what Tim did. As for Dog, everyone seems to forget the man was in prison and the language used there is as racist as it can get. The N word is probably just part of his natural language like darn or shucks is to some of the rest of us. Yes, he is a celebrity, and should have curbed his use of the N word. Sometimes old habits are hard to break, this being one of them. Don’t hate him for being human, love him for trying to work his way out of the past life he had lived. Sorry I did not know that Dog had lost a daughter - sympathy there Duane. Yes Dog is a little out there, with Beth coming around the corner first, and the wild hair, etc. But look at how famous Billy Ray Cyrus became with his mullet. And if memory serves me right, most of the pictures of Jesus shows him with long hair. I hope the networks will allow Dog and company back on TV. It’s nice to see someone really take it to the crooks for a change.

I don’t understand the American public. This man is someone everyone was praising as a hero just months ago and routing for him and Dog to beat the problems they had. Now that he is down on his luck and doing what most men do when they are lost and alone everyone wants to bash him. If this was the guy down the street we’d be saying the poor guy is living in his truck, alone, attorney fees probably did leave him broke, and we want to say awful things. As far as Dog being a racist, I’d like to know when they changed the rules that you cannot speak the way you want to, in your home. His son set him up, big time. He knew how to push his dad’s button’s to get his dad upset. I think in all fairness, Dog was mostly concerned that the girlfriend was with his son, because of who the parents were. The son, seeing a way to make money, or so he thought, secretly taped the conversation and sold it. We should be asking how could a child to that to his own family? I’m sure we have all said things, in private and would be horified if they got out. I’m also getting tired and I’m sure others are as well, of some people getting upset with Dog and Beth about the extend of their helping Tim since he had been sleeping in his car and seperated from his wife. Unless you are living with the Chapman’s yourselves, you don’t have any idea what the Chapman’s have or haven’t done for Tim. After meeting the Chapmans a few years ago while in Hawaii, I can say that they are a family that cares about others. What you see on the show when they are showing compassion for someone, is the real deal. I was a tourist just wanting to see their office after watching the show. They invited us in and sat and talked with us. They are a normal family who happens to be great at what they do. Tim was there and they all love and respect each other. Everyone gets themselves into situations that they wish they hadn’t. We do not know what happened to cause Tim and his wife to split. It’s not our business. We do not know what the Chapman’s did to help him. It’s not our business. We don’t know why Tim did what he did. It’s not our business. We do know that we cannot be responsible for someone else’s actions. We can only be there to show support when they need it.

Excuse me for being late on the news about Tim. Saw the season premiere last week and wondered where he was. After reading all that I have read on the subject I guess I’m caught up. WHAT THE @$#&. Where is the DOG now. I can’t believe you would cut him out like that. You have not commented or said if you were helping him or what. You seen to help others but your own so called “BROTHER”. I found out about Tim, and I’m sorry that he is having problems. I always enjoy watching him on “Dog” because he always seems to have so much concern for the people he has to confront. He truly lives what he prays. It will seem odd when he isnt there, but I’ll just keep hoping he can get it together and be back on the show soon. His brother Dog surely will extend his own helping hand. After all that’s what families do for each other. Tim may find himself in a spot right now, but regardless of good or bad, families stick together!! Hopefully the “Dog” family team will pull him through, but if that embarassment is too much for them, then Tim is more than welcome to come stay with me! The “word” that Dog believes in also teaches us to forgive and uplift our fellows! I stil love ya Tim, and I wish you the best!

I am glad Dog and the team are back. The team did the right thing going after “Luster”. That scum needed taking down. Hope they have many more years to come. I also hope that Tim can overcome his recent problems. I don’t believe the charges. I think it was a misunderstanding. There are members of my own family that have changed clothes in a vehicle, day or night, wherever and whenever needed. It happens. I also hope Tim and his wife can work things out. She seemed like a nice lady. ALSO, no way do I believe that dog or his family are racists. I have always hated the “n” word. I don’t like hearing black people calling each other that either. It’s disrespectful. PERIOD. And leave Beth alone. Nor do I believe that dog has cut Tim out. It’s either the network or a decision talked over and decided by all. My guess is the network, look at how a private conversation (taped by a MONEY GRUBBER) made them react. How do you think the news of Tim legal problems struck them?
