I just enjoyed lunch at Kaka’ako Park and recalled one of the best free activities that I used to do 10 years ago.  If you’re looking for a cheap, fun date or simply looking for something to pass the time, this should satisfy.

Kaka’ako has really nice sloping hills and are ideal for box or tray sledding.  Just pick up a cardboard “sled” from Costco or Safeway or a cafeteria tray, trudge up the hill and sled down!  When you get sick of that, don your bathing suit and jump in the water to cool off.
