You can forgive him or not, but Dog has been through a lot of turmoil as of late, with is show threatened to be cancelled indefinitely. Well, everthing has been cleared up, and A&E decided to film a new season of Dog the Bounty Hunter, which debuted last night! I caught it by chance at 6pm last night (with a repeat at 10pm) on A&E. A few things to note:
- Tim Chapman is not in the beginning credits, nor was he on the show. He may have been kicked off due to his troubles when he performed lewd acts and almost ran over a police officer.
- Baby Lyssa is now part of the team permanantly and is in the beginning credits.
- The editing is a bit more “snazzy” and they changed a few of the sounds to make it sound more polished. Subtle, but I like it better.
- The team is now Leland, Beth, Duane Lee, Baby Lyssa, and Dog.
The only crappy part was that the first episode of the new season was filmed in Colorado. They are still OK, but it’s more fun when you get to watch an episode that can happen in your hometown. They said the next episode was still going to be in Colorado, so who knows, when they start showing episodes in Hawaii, maybe Tim is back on board. Still though, for the first episode of this season, it was quite exciting (I won’t give anything away) and was an hour long.
So if you are a Dog fan and are happy that his show is back on air, catch him every Wednesdays at 6pm and a repeat at 10pm (Hawaii time)!

I am very glad to see Dog back on the air again. I never felt for a second that Dog had that kind of hate in his heart.
Welcome back Dog.

I would like to correct you in a few things that you wrote. You wrote these charges as if he has been convicted of them-to my knowledge he has not-and it was not a police officer it was a security guard.
I have read that Tim is taking the whole season off “to resolve” his personal problems.
I wish him and his family all the best.

Tim deserves a second chance to get his life back in order.
He should have know better than to be living in his truck. I think he should have found himself temporary living quarters.
I miss seeing him on the program. I can see how much Dog relied on him as his back up. I hope he is back in Season 6 or sooner if possible.

Dog is a racist. Shows you how much people care about black people in this country that a documented racist like Dog would be put on air where he can spread his message of hate to the masses. I seem to remember Isaiah Washington being crucified for simular comments about gays, and he’s not back on Grey’s… But then Isaiah’s a black guy.
