Bring your friends and family down to the Waikiki Shell this Saturday, January 17, 2009 for the “Throw Da Shaka” concert presented by KCCN and Hawaiian Island Creations. Performers include J Boog, Fiji, Rebel Souljahz, Mana`o Company, and Laga. Part of the proceeds of the concert will go to the Konishki Kids Foundation, a non-profit organization which benefits youth from the Leeward side of Oahu.
Tickets are only $10 for lawn seats purchased by January 16 so get your tickets early otherwise you’ll have to pay $15 for lawn seat tickets purchased on the day of the concert. Tickets can be purchased at the Neal Blaisdell Box Office, at any Ticketmaster location, or online at ticketmaster.com.
The concert begins at 5:30 p.m. so head down early so you can score a parking spot.
