Still, almost a year and a half after it was first brought up, President Barack Obama’s citizenship is being questioned. Questioned by whom? Conspiracy theorists, news casters that have nothing better to report on? We’re not sure, but there’s news from the Capital that says go away.
Rep Neil Abercrombie proposed a congressional resolution yesterday commemorating Hawaii as the 50th state on its 50th anniversary of statehood. Within that resolution was a line item that said “Whereas the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961;”
There, its official, its in a congressional resolution… Or, you could have just believed the Hawaii Health Department or vital records both of which confirmed the birth certificate. Or maybe the Honolulu Advertiser or Star Bulletin from August 13 and 14th, 1961 announcing births, of which, the President was one listed.
But then again, I wouldn’t have something to write about.
