Xcel Pro Sunset Beach Surf Contest Finals

Big surf will continue to pound the North shore of Oahu today providing surfers from all over the world with waves galore. Low easterly winds, and sunshine seems to be the forecast for the day.

Those of you hoping to catch some mid morning surf at Sunset Beach will have to wait. The Xcel Pro Surf Contest at Sunset Beach is scheduled to hold semi-finals and finals today at 9 am and 10:15 am respectively. With wave heights of 6 – 8 Hawaiian (8 – 12+ faces) the contest is sure to be entertaining.

Still left to ride in the 3 remaining heats are Shane Beschen, Danny Fuller, Pancho Sullivan, Charlie Carroll, Myles Padaca, Sean Moody, Hank Gaskell, and Daniel Jones.
