Huge Waves of Oahu’s O’Neill Word Cup of Surfing

The O’Neill World Cup of Surfing is on for today, with wave heights expected to reach 20 – 30 feet for the northern shores of Oahu.  The contest, part of the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing, is being held at Sunset Beach on the North Shore of Oahu.

Today is the fourth round of competition and will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Competitors from Hawaii that will surf today are Sunny Garcia, Pancho Sullivan, Dusty Payne, Kekoa Bacalso, Mason Ho and Flynn Novak.  Definitely head up if you have the chance, but please, please, don’t get in the water.
