Maui’s Jaws Draws Best Tow-In Surfers in the World

As all of Oahu, and the surfing world gets ready for the Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational to take place at Waimea Bay on the island of Oahu, tow-in surfing eyes are on Peahi, or Jaws, on the island of Maui.

Jaws brought out some of the best big wave surfers in the world as Laird Hamilton and Dave Kalama were both spotted in the lineup. The sugar cane field over looking the fabled surf break was littered with people all trying to grab a glimpse of the waves. The following four videos have already been posted and I’m sure there will be more to come.
