Indulge in ménage trios of improvisational laughter Saturday September 11th 2010, a night dedicated to Del Close a performer “a man who saw the potential and wonder of improv to being more than just a tool to create sketch comedy.
Close believed that improvisation could be performed as an art, and so with the help of a few other performers he created the improvised long form The Harold. Today, this form can be seen all across the nation and is reflected in many sitcoms that we watch today, including Seinfeld!”
Three of the Laughtracks’ best Improv troops will perform ‘The Harold,’ an unscripted performance driven by the audience and their responses/imput so no two shows are alike.. Blank Canvas, Muslin Hamster, Meryle Necklace will perform at 8PM and then again at 10PM. Tickets are a steal, $10 for general admission, $8 for students. and military with valid ID.
