Feast upon A Festival of Music at the Orvis Auditorium on the University of Hawai’i Manoa Campus November 11th 2010 Thursday starting at 4PM.
This event marks the 43rd annual convention of the Hawai’i State Music Teachers Association and helps to raise funds for the Music Department of the University of Hawai’i, especially its renovation efforts.
Ukulele Sensation, International Superstar (and all around great guy) Jake Shimabukuro is a very special guest artist who will perform solo as well as joining in ensemble with HMTA members, all of this musical ‘wow’ plus Honolulu Symphony Concert Master Ignace Jang will collaborate with Jake in an exciting finale. The Mistress of Ceremonies is the ever effervescent Carole Kai.
