The first three days of the Reef Hawaiian Pro, the Vans Triple Crown kick-off contest, were lay days. The first and second due to small kine surf and Sunday, in memorial and out of respect for Andy Irons and his family and friends who held a memorial service on Kauai for the legend. Saturday however, was a welcomed lay day as the 2010 World Miss Reef contest was held at Haleiwa Ali’i Beach Park.
And out in droves was anyone armed with a camera and who wanted to take in the beautiful sights. The winner, was Panama’s Miss Reef Betsy, aka, Number 4. She took home the title, but in our minds everyone was a winner. There are plenty of pictures out there, check out the Vans Site for more.
