Is your birth certificate real? Were you really born here? Well Barack Obama was born in the United States of America and floating around the internet, news site, and some national newspapers is his a picture of his birth certificate (for a larger one check it out here.) But still people don’t believe him, or the state of Hawaii.
The debate about the President and his country of birth is back all over the news. I guess when people don’t have the health care bill to discuss they want to bring this up. I’ve even stupidly watched Andersen Cooper interview Rep. Bob Wagner’s from Montana talk about his bill to require presidential candidates to prove they are natural-born citizens before appearing on the Montana ballot gained national notoriety. I was in and out, but I’m pretty sure he discussed Obama in that interview.
The new Hawaii governor, Neil Abercrombie, went so far as to add a line item to a bill commemorating Hawaii as the 50th state in the union saying “Whereas the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961.” Abercrombie did this in 2009 shortly before stepping down to run for governor in 2010.
We’re still trying to figure out why this is in the news, and yes, we realize the irony of that statement since technically we’re perpetuating the same story thus inciting more stories about the President and his true origin of birth.
But being a Hawaii based news site we thought we needed to perpetuate the obvious story that the President can be our President. We’re hopeful this story can go away soon because we’re running out of things to talk about around it.

My personal take on it is that Obama most definitely has something (s) he doesn’t want people to find out about. That he was born in Kenya? Possibly, though probably not. At any rate, the candidate who promised transparency and a new kind of leadership isn’t and isn’t.

Obama won’t produce the long form because Obama loves birthers. Just by ignoring them he is making his opponents look foolish.
So, the job of the President of the united States is to make the American People look foolish if they question a questionable thing? I think that kind of thinking will come back to bite him and his backers in the ass! The birther theory is that in the 6 months between his parents marriage in Maui and Obama’s birth, that Obama’s father continued his schooling at the University of Hawaii while also travelling to Kenya with his new wife, where she would undoubtedly would have met his first wife who he hadn’t totally divorced (though Obama’s mother thought otherwise and claimed to have discovered it 2 years after their marriage) JUST to have a baby and return in time to fake his birth records. U of H didn’t have online courses back then, so that would have been a really interesting 6 months if that had been the case. The birthers will clearly believe anything, and letting them continue with this foolishness will be another tool to use in the next election to further alienate the logical moderates.
The Constitutional requirements differ between Legislature and Executive Branches.
It is not enough to prove Obama was born in Hawaii. At any rate either born in Kenya or Born in Hawaii, he is either a British citizen, or a native born US/British dual-citizen.
Native born is not always Natural Born.

This is a red herring. It’s a silly postulation. On the other hand, it’s not unreasonable to suggest that, if Obama was indeed born outside the US, an effort was made by his family to ensure he was a US citizen for simple and obvious reasons.
The birth notices are hardly the “slam-dunk” some would have you believe. It takes only a modest amount of skepticism to imagine that the circumstances by which the notices appeared in the paper are not entirely as advertised.

There weren’t phones back in 1961? Who’s to say Obama’s maternal Grandmother who lived in Hawaii in 1961 didn’t receive a call from her daughter in Kenya upon Obama’s birth and proudly placed the birth announcements herself! Proposed Bill S.2128 in 2004 “Define Natural Born Citizen as it applies to the requirement for POTUS” never passed. The speeches made stated that other than AN AMERICAN SOIL BORN CHILD WITH TWO AMERICAN SOIL BORN PARENTS is not eligible. All law precedence disputes definitions as regards to citizenship and whether it is citizen, naturalized citizen, and some state natural born citizen but all such laws are moot when it comes to redefining or amending Article II of the Constitution. Therefore, the Natural Born Citizen term has always been and never amended to mean anything other than soil born with two soil born parents. The 14th Amendment is moot on the subject about the POTUS. Since it does not amend the definition of natural born status it does not change or amend Article II of the Constitution.
So the lawmakers who signed off on Obama meeting that requirement are the ones that are ignorant or ignoring and dismissing this requirement. He is primarily at birth a subject of the British Throne …the very “why” of our founding Father’s objection and need to put that requirement for the office of the POTUS….any other office it is fine to just be a citizen but not the Presidency.

OBAMA SAW INTO THE FUTURE AND POSTED THOSE NEWSPAPER ANNOUNCEMENTS? I was a birth certificate clerk at a hospital in the 70′s and often had to tell people how to obtain a birth certificate when the baby was not born at the hospital. Such was the parent of a foreign exchange student who had wired her mother the birth stats of a baby born abroad and needed the birth registered at ther permanent address in America for her child to be an American citizen. The mother presented two pieces of mail addressed to the student at her permanent address home, the student’s birth certificate showing she was an American citizen, she filled out the long form certificate that was notorized and signed by the grandmother of the child born overseas….and I told them that they would receive a COLB in seven to ten days that she could then send to the student mom so she could return to the US with an American citizen baby and that the Register of Deeds would also receive it and mark it in the books, and also the newspapers would be informed …and the newspaper announcement never showed the overseas birthplace just the local permanent address. …..So that is why neither the COLB nor the newspaper announcements prove anything….If you notice the newspaper listing is nine days after the birth and shows the grandparents address. So the DOH can say they have a record but what does that long form actually say. If Obama was born outside the US…
No politician or Fox News person, Michelle Bachman, Sarah Palin, …no one wants to address this issue and are advised to steer free of agreeing with any birther because…most have not idea that the President’s father’s alien birth makes him ineligible …and if it was solely on whether or not he was born in Hawaii they have no proof otherwise that he was not born in Hawaii…and if he was proven to be born in Kenya as if that is the only thing that would make him ineligible…what the heck could any of them do..there is no precedence nor procedure other than impeachment and that process would take a couple of years they don’t have….and might make Biden our President and that certainly is not a favorable situation to a Republican either…SO LET LYING LIARS LIE.

Andrew Jackson (1829-1837) is the only president born of two immigrants, both Irish (neither citizens at the time of his birth). Presidents with one immigrant parent are Thomas Jefferson (1801-1809), whose mother was born in England, James Buchanan (1857-1861) and Chester Arthur’s (1881-1885) father didn’t become a citizen until AFTER Chester’s birth, both of whom had Irish fathers, and Woodrow Wilson (1913-1921) and Herbert Hoover (1929-1933), whose mothers were born respectively in England and Canada.
Tice who was not qualified since his father became a citizen after Chester was born but at least he swore loyalty and remained in the US unlike Obam’s hit and run bigamist father that Obama as another diversion “dreams of”. Hiding all this in plain sight worked because our press is stupid or something even worse. We must seriously legalize the Constitution before the protection it provides us is lost completely.
Technically when and if Obama is removed for ineligibility the following is necessary.
All choices, appointments and signed bills become invalid and reviewable by successor who will be the Speaker of the House.

Nancy Pelosi is liable for the notice of Candidacy to Hawaii in which she swore to Obama’s meeting Constitutional requirements (not sworn to any other State).
It is amazing how the term “birther” acted as a diversion from the real issue of parentage which every Supreme Court Justice knows is the requirement. Natural means place and blood origin and is not complicated.
To be constitutionally elligable to be president, BOTH of one’s parents MUST be US citizens at the time of one’s birth. Osama Barak’s father, (Barak Hussein Obama SR.) was NOT a US citizen at the time of the birth of his little communist. In 3 years, I have not found one valid birth document in trying to silence “birthers”. The only one acknowledged by “BHO” (and Gibbs, saying “WE…put it there” in response to a Information Request by a reporter) is on their website. “Only” problem is that, at the bottom of it, the “STATE OF HAWAII” clearly declares it “INVALID”.
So, without any, there is no “proof” of anything about BHO either way…not even the identities of his parents.
I see the author of this article really investigated this story thoroughly. The picture you posted is not a birth certificate. In fact Obama has not produced a birth certificate. Some member of his team however did post on the internet a computer generated certificate of live birth. I have also heard the Barack’s sister has one of those, as well issued by the state of Hawaii, even though she was born in Indonesia!
The Hawaiian Certification of Live Birth (COLB) foisted upon a confused American public by Mr. Obama neither identifies nor bears a signature of the attending doctor and it does not even name the birth hospital…. Four (4) different, computer-generated internet images have been released, but not one of them gives the date ‘Accepted’ as it should, but only the date ‘Filed’…. Recent, specialized computer analysis of the ‘original’ COLB displayed on DailyKOS shows that there is no indication of a Serial Number present on the layer beneath the black ‘redact panel’, indicating forgery of the document…. Tim Adams, senior election official during the 2008 presidential campaign, has sworn an affidavit stating that no birth certificate for Obama existed in Hawaii at that time.

‘Birthers’ can’t we have a bit of honesty on this issue. 4. Why doesn’t Obama use his original birth certificate when running for the highest position in the land and then fight in court any actions to release the original 1961 documents?

Please publish the truth, with facts instead of using the term “birther”. I have only become interested in this issue since the U.S Supreme Court is giving the “Natural Born Citizen” issue another chance for review on 4 Mar 11.
I had a coworker who told me she protested Bush v Gore (hanging chads) because of the injustice.
So I asked her this- If it had gone the other way, would you have protested? She could’nt figure out why I was laughing so hard when she answered NO. Need I say more?
Michelle Obama has admitted in an interview about “Barack returning to his homeland in Kenya”. What was that all about? The birth certificate does not look real or have the necessary information such as hospital. Also, with all this publicity, how come he can’t address these claims and instead, the supreme court continues to reject the petitions? It was common in Hawaii at that time in the 60′s for them to “sign off” on foreign births. This who thing in NOT a stretch. It may indeed be that Obama was born here, but the facts remain and we as American’s deserve to know the truth. Anyone just dismissing this as propeganda doesn’t truly care about our Constitution.
Maybe what the birther/crazies need to understand is the overall timeline, and see if in any way, their ridiculous theory could possibly hold true, birth certificate or no. This is the timeline:
Sept 1960: Obama Sr meets Ann Dunham in class at University of Hawaii.
December-ish 1960: Obama Sr and Ann Dunham get busy and conceive a child out of wedlock.
Feb 1961: Obama Sr and Ann Dunham get married in Maui, Hawaii.
Ann Dunham drops out of school but Obama Sr CONTINUES HIS EDUCATION at the university.
BIRTHER THEORY: During this time, the birthers believe Obama Sr and a pregnant Ann Dunham move to Kenya so that Mrs Obama can have a baby. WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD MOVE TO AFRICA IN THE 1960′s TO HAVE A BABY???!!!! And how is this jet-setting couple of limited means paying for all these trips across the world????
August 4, 1961: Obama Jr is born. In August, several family friends meet the baby and congratulate the couple IN HAWAII. (Birthers think they are lying, too).
September 1961: Mrs. Obama goes to the state of Washington with her baby and starts school in September while Obama senior finishes his degree: a B.A. in Economics at the University in Hawaii (he earned it in 3 years).
So birthers, how does one get a degree from a college while living across the world in Kenya? Why would he take his new bride to Kenya to have a baby where the medical care isn’t exactly top-notch (especially in 1961) only to race home to continue school? How did they afford to go back and forth like that, AND get someone to fake a birth certificate and birth announcements in 2 Hawaii papers, and convince everyone who ever knew Ann Dunham to lie to all the reporters about going to school with them and meeting the baby? How is any of your theory at all logical?
There is no logic to this. Why would a president fail to silence his critics by failing to publish a simple document the same as everyone else has unless there is something on it that is embarrassing or disqualifying? Why?? Also, why is the Hawaii CLB virtually blank? Why is the number blacked out? Why is the hospital not identified? Or the attending physician? Have you compared this document to others issued the next day? You haven’t? If you had, you’d see a big difference. One is that Obama’s birth certificate looks new– why is that? Others from that era look like documents half a century old. But not HIS. No, I’d say you haven’t looked into this much at all.

It’s not just the LIE that he claims to be a (Natural Born) citizen, when his dad(?) was Kenyan, but everything. His SSN, his college records, and why would ANY lawyer who received his BAR license voluntarily surrender it (and Michelle’s, too)? I would like to point out that the short form COLB posted here by Erik has the same file number as the long form COLB posted by his comrade AR. The long form COLB is the same document just more complete.
CONCLUSION: Erik’s “update” voices his opinion that BO was born in Hawaii, Extract his feelings and any reasonable thinking person sees how this update bolsters the previous article showing BO was born in Kenya. Erik’s words: “Barack Obama’s Birth Certificate is Real” The whole world knows that the short form posted by Erik is a forgery, as of that posting the WH had not released the hideous forgery (I think BO forged it himself or Michelle) that leaves only the one posted by AR. I give Erik the benefit of the doubt I believe the long form COLB is real. Erik says it is and I haven’t seen it debunked.
