Chinatown’s newest boutique shop, Milk and Honey located at 1128 Smith Street, just had their grand opening party last night December 2, 2011. Owners Patricia Chang and Christine George are friends and fashionista that stock their store with clothing, accessories, shoes, and some of the hottest brands out of Los Angeles and New York.
Some of the trendy brands the store carries are House of Harlow 1960 sunglasses and jewelry, Tokyo Milk Dark, REPORT shoes, Soludos shoes, Low Luv jewelry, JJ Winters handbags, and Dolce Vita clothing. Patricia is my personal friend, and I’ve been to the store a couple times and love love the clothing and accessories in the store. Most of the items in the store are very reasonably priced, unique, and high quality pieces.
I was there for the grand opening party and Patricia and Christine really know how to throw a party! The night started off with a lion dance blessing and continued with a live DJ, an open vodka bar, hot dog station, Milk and Honey fashion show, and shopping shopping shopping. Check out the photos from last night and stop by the store next time your in the downtown area!
