Norm Chow Next Hawaii Football Coach

The University of Hawaii Warrior football team had a dissappointing year failing to make it to a bowl, even though those Hawaii bowl commericials, you know the ones, that don’t tell you who’s in it, show only Hawaii players. In that same year, Coach McMackin resigned and Bryant Moniz got hurt.

Well, looks like the search for a new coach is coming to end with the recent announcement that Utah offensive coordinator Norm Chow will be the next head coach of the University of Hawaii football program. He’s been approved by the board and now the contract needs to get signed sealed and delivered.

Chow has an impressive record as a coach being offensive coordinator for the Tennessee Titans, UCLA, USC, North Carolina State and BYU. While at BYU and USC, he worked with Heisman trophy winners Ty Detmer, Carson Palmer and Matt Leinart and one national championships at both of those schools. Hmmm, what do we think he could do with the talent that Hawaii has?
