I’m not really sure what I was thinking when I agreed to go along with friends and take a prop plane over to Molokai. Here are the details: a four seater plane, the size of the sedan, pilot unknown.
Our pilot turned out to be a very experienced flight instructor, but a dare devil individual, and he thought it would be hilarious to try and roll our plane. After four screaming attempts, a glimpse of the plane’s nose headed directly into the ocean, and almost loosing our breakfast our pilot decided we were too heavy to flip. Looking back I guess I wasn’t really prepared for the quick 20 minute wild ride over, but this extreme flight was definitely the highlight of the trip.
Here are some photos of the plane ride over and the gorgeous scenery. There were 8 of us all together on two different planes.
