Golfing
Island courses. Tropical landscape, ocean mist, and flip flops. Oahu has the worlds most challenging course, gracing the Ko'olau Mountains, Classic Turtle Bay on the Northshore, and countless others scattered about. If you come as a tourist to the island you might find yourself paying out your ears, but to say you played the islands, it's worth it. If you live on the island your Kamaina discount will save you tons.
I have begun to play a lot of the courses around the island and hope to play them all as soon as possible. Even on a bad day you can enjoy yourself. I would suggest bring a lot of sunscreen with, the sun can be intense but lovely. I would also suggest keeping your muscles under control. If you pull out the big dog and let it eat on every hole you might find yourself in some big trouble. In order to fit in 18 holes on some of the land on Oahu you have to squeeze into some tight places. This makes for twists and turns and really narrow fairways. If you try for the green on every hole you'll find yourself in a world of hurt.
Bring you Visa and bring your game. You'll find enjoyment on any course you play, just look out from the next fairway over.
