After the Volcom Pipe Pro contest was called off today; eyes, boards, and surfers turned towards Waimea Bay. There were some decent waves at the Bay, with surf in the 8-14+ foot Hawaiian range.
The Volcom Pipe Pro was called off today on just too big of waves. It was on in the AM but then a rapidly rising swell caught organizers by surprise.
