After joining the ASP Women’s World Tour in 2009, Hawaiian beauty Alana Blanchard was unable to requalify in 2010, but charged her way back on to the Top 17 for 2011 with an impressive late-season push that saw her finish at No. 8 overall to take the final spot among her fellow elite.

Born-and-raised on Hawaii’s garden-isle of Kauai, Blanchard’s comfort in powerful surf has established the regular-footer as a consistent top finisher at the prestigious Vans Triple Crown series. In addition to her talent in the water, Blanchard has built an international name for herself as a model that has gained attention from the likes of media giant Rolling Stone as one of the world’s hottest women and her talent in and out of the water marks her as one of the biggest names in women’s surfing.
