Young Sally Fitzgibbons went on an historic competitive tear in 2008, winning the Billabong ASP World Junior Championships before qualifying for the prestigious ASP Women’s World Tour prior to the 2008 season being halfway finished, and winning the ASP WQS by the largest point margin in history. For those who know the prodigious natural-footer from New South Wales’ Gerroa, this comes as no surprise. Sally’s athleticism has been reputed across Australia for quite some time. An accomplished track and soccer athlete, Fitzgibbons has given up the cleats in favor for a steamer and it has paid huge dividends.
