Honolulu Family Festival Parking and Shuttle
Thursday, March 25th, 2010It’s that time of year again and the Honolulu Family Festival has a great schedule of events for you to enjoy. If you live on Oahu, or are planning to visit this weekend, you don’t want to miss all the action as it starts today and runs through Sunday, March 28th.
So how are you going to get there? Parking at the beach park is obviously going to be nearly impossible. There is limited street parking along the Ala Moana Beach park road, but hey, might be worth it if you’re feeling lucky, real lucky.
Another good place you may want to park that some might have overlooked would be Kewalos park. The parking there is limited to normal state park parking regulations (time limits and hours of operation) but if you’re not planning to stay all day you may want to check it out. It’s here if you don’t know.
Ward Warehouse is another you can try. Parking is free but can be difficult to get.
Last but not least is to park near the Ala Pai Street bus terminal and take the free shuttle that is setup to run Saturday and Sunday from 3 to 11 and 3 to 10 pm respectively.
Or, if you live in town, why not walk or ride your bike. It’ll be great exercise.
